The New LARGE Ornot Handlebar Bag Brings Both Form and Function

San Fransisco brand Ornot has been providing bicycle-related goodies to cyclists since 2013. And they’ve just added a new bag to the mix, the Large Handlebar Bag. Their original handlebar bag was released back in 2016, and they say it “won awards, toured the world, and carried a bazillion calories of snacks”.

They claim it was also the first to introduce side pockets designed to hold a phone. Ornot has a mission to create high-performance, minimally branded cycling apparel, and their bags are no exception.

After “examining every detail” of the original bag, Ornot has come up with a redesign that has them excited. The cargo pockets on the new LARGE Handlebar Bag are what really get their juices flowin’, stating that they “have them on their shorts, why not have them on the bag”.

After the research, they found that the most useful pockets are the ones located on the rear of the bag. Making access to snacks quick and easy.

Another nice feature is the wraparound zipper. The design of this zipper makes for easy access to the sundries in the bag, as well as making it easy to stuff oddly shaped cargo in it, like say your DSLR camera, for instance.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times… I love versatility in my bike stuff. So, you know I love the fact that the LARGE Handlebar Bag comes with adjustable width mounting points and with two Voile Straps… ah, the versatility of the Voile Strap.

The internal zipped pocket is another nice touch worth noting. the LARGE Handlebar Bag uses Challenge ECOPAK recycled fabric, a rigid frame sheet, and YKK zippers. Ornot says they’ve “taken their experience with other bags from the last 7 years and poured everything into this”.

The new bag is available in three colors:
